Aromoire has no account, no ads and no cross-app tracking, and we do not sell data. Your shelf and your diary live on your device.
Your wardrobe, wishlist, scent diary, wear counts, ratings and taste answers are stored only on your iPhone. We never receive them. Deleting the app deletes them.
To run the AI features and check your subscription, the app signs in anonymously (an anonymous Firebase user ID). It is not linked to your name, email or contacts.
Three features send data to our backend and, from there, to our AI provider (fal.ai): the bottle scan sends the photo you take; the concierge sends the list of fragrance names on your shelf; the advisor sends the words you type plus a shortlist of candidate names. This content is processed only to produce the answer, is not linked to your identity, and is not used to train models. Photos are processed and discarded — we do not keep them.
The camera and photo library are used only when you choose to scan a bottle. Nothing is uploaded unless you take or pick a photo for a scan.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check your subscription status against your anonymous ID. We never see your payment details.
The bundled catalogue is a compilation of factual fragrance information (house, name, year, notes, accords and community ratings) drawn from public community sources. Aromoire is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any perfume house.
Aromoire is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can request deletion of any data associated with your anonymous ID by writing to ilyas.inajjar@gmail.com. EU/UK users: GDPR rights apply (access, rectification, erasure, portability).
